Singer Registration - 2024 Quintessence Summer Choral Festival

July 20-28, 2024

Please read all details below, then click here to register.

The 2024 Quintessence Summer Choral Festival (our 12th) will feature the New Mexico premiere of Christopher Tin's The Lost Birds: An Extinction Elegy. Registrants will form a massed chorus that will rehearse the piece over the course of the week, and the perform it with professional orchestra at the festival concert on July 28.

In addition, there will be group workshops, virtual offerings, and the opportunity for individual voice lessons. We are thrilled that among our teaching artists are four young professional singers who are members of the VOCES8 Scholar program. This is happening through a partnership with The VOCES8 Foundation.

High school and college-aged singers are encouraged to audition for our Choral Scholars Chamber Chorus, which will perform a set of pieces as well as be a part of the festival chorus. Applications deadline for Choral Scholars is May 15.

The chorus rehearsals are listed below. Rehearsals begin Saturday, July 20.

The complete schedule will be updated with workshops and other social events that will happen throughout the week

We look forward to rehearsing and performing with you!
